Do you know how much money the public spends to manage phone books in the U.S.? Or how many trees are lost to make them? Hear from Megan Byers in this video on the many big impacts of unwanted phone books. Megan is the Associate for Policy, Programs, and Outreach at the Product Stewardship Institute (PSI). The outreach and Phone Book Opt-Out Toolkit work of PSI led to over 24,000 opt-outs in just one year. Megan is also part of our Reducing Paper Consumption Initiative at the Environmental Paper Network, where reducing global paper consumption and promoting fair access to paper are the first priority of our Global Paper Vision.
