The Bank earnestly implemented the Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on
Comprehensively Strengthening the Protection of the Ecological Environment and Resolutely Preventing and
Curbing the Pollution , the Overall Plan for the Structural Reform for Ecological Progress issued by the CPC
Central Committee and the State Council, the Guidelines for Establishing a Green Finance System jointly issued
by seven ministries and commissions including the People's Bank of China and the Ministry of Finance, and
the Guidelines on Green Credit issued by the former China Banking Regulatory Commission and other policies
and regulatory requirements and adhered to the concept of green development. (...) We continued to carry out AML advocacy campaigns
with one month designated to communicate the theme “Strengthening management on AML,
anti-terrorist financing and anti-tax evasion as well as calling for public participation”.
The CSR report indicated the bank has implemented the green credit guidelines and expects clients to comply with national laws, but it does not reference international conventions.partly

CPB establishes environment-protecting enterprise data to enable dynamic monitoring to approved projects. According to its rules implementing the Green Credit Guidelines, persistent pollution is forbidden in any projects which are approved by CPB.
